DOWAL PRODUCTIONS
The
Music
Established
in the 70’s, Dowal Production has produced a number of
well-attended concerts, including the Antipolo Rock Festival; Jesus Christ
Superstar, a concert musical held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines
(CCP) featuring the Juan dela Cruz Band and the Manila Symphony Orchestra
with Oscar Yatco as Conductor; Rock Concert at the CCP with the Juan dela
Cruz Band and the Philharmonic Orchestra with Rendentor Romero as Conductor;
Himig Natin Free Concert at the Luneta Amphitheater; and, Jeepney Jam at the
Hard Rock Café Makati in 2007.
Why We
Rock
Dowal’s production experience has led to impressive albums like Juan
dela Cruz’s First Pinoy Rock Album, Himig Natin, Maskara, Supersession and
the Best of Juan dela Cruz.
Innovative
and diverse, Dowal prides itself in being able to bring out the best in any
performer. Being musicians themselves, Wally Gonzalez and Reujen Lista know
the industry by heart, and are committed to developing world-class
entertainers. In January and October 2006, Dowal conceptualized and led a
series of successful shows in Sydney,
Australia.
Following this major feat, Dowal Productions is now set to establish a branch
office in Sydney.
Our
Vision
Dowal’s corporate objective is to uplift the condition of Filipino
musicians working overseas. It aims to provide meaningful protection to musicians
and their families in terms of income and talent fee, and secure their
membership to the government Social Security System, Home Development Mutual
Fund (HDMF) and PhilHealth programs to enable them to enjoy benefits such as
loans and sickness and retirement benefits. Dowal also seeks to develop an
insurance package to include hospitalization benefits for their immediate
dependent/s and to facilitate housing loans.
Dowal’s dream is to develop brilliant musicians by nurturing their
God-given talent.
